About
My name is Shonise DeVaughn, and I am a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in healthcare. My journey didn’t start as a nurse—it actually began when I worked as a housekeeper in a nursing home. Being in that environment inspired me to pursue a deeper role in patient care, which led me to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). I worked as an STNA for nearly 10 years before advancing my career and becoming a nurse.
Starting from the ground up gave me a deep respect for every role in healthcare and a strong understanding of how important CNAs/STNAs are to the care team. They are often the heart of patient care, spending the most time with residents and noticing changes that make a real difference in their health and well-being.
I created Devine Nurses Health & Wellness to build a training program that truly prepares students for success—not only to pass the state exam, but to feel confident and capable in the real healthcare environment.
My mission is to educate, empower, and support the next generation of caregivers, helping them build a strong foundation that can open doors to many opportunities in healthcare.
