Service Description
The CNA Nurse Aide Training Program at Devine Nurses Health & Wellness is an accelerated 3-week (75-hour) Ohio NATCEP-approved training course designed to prepare future Nurse Aides to deliver compassionate, safe, and professional care in long-term care facilities, home health, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. Program is set start March 2026 (Pending Approval) The course includes 59 hours of classroom and hands-on skills lab training, followed by 16 hours of supervised clinical practice at an approved healthcare facility. Class Schedule: (3-Week Program) Evening Class • Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM • Clinical: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Week 3) Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the Ohio State Nurse Aide Competency Exam to become a State-Tested Nurse Aide (STNA). 📘 What You Will Learn: 🔹 Role & responsibilities of a Nurse Aide 🔹 Infection control & safety procedures 🔹 Measuring and recording vital signs 🔹 Bed mobility, positioning, and transfers 🔹 Personal care: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting 🔹 Communication skills & cultural sensitivity 🔹 Understanding dementia, aging, and mental health needs 🔹 Residents’ rights, ethics, and legal standards 🔹 Workplace professionalism and career readiness Program Cost: includes textbook, candidate handbook, skills lab supplies, clinical placement, exam prep, certificate. • Tuition: $800 • Registration/Deposit: $200 (applied to tuition) Payment Options: • Pay in full • Klarna • Afterpay • Affirm Scrub Uniform (Purple required) • Rental: $25 • Purchase: $50 • Bring your own allowed Enrollment Requirements • Age 16 or older • Minors require parent/guardian consent • Government-issued ID • Social Security card • TB test/screening • BCI background check (before clinicals) Background Check Disclaimer • Students must complete a BCI background check before clinicals. • Students are responsible for the full cost of the background check. • Must be completed no later than Day 3. • Failure to complete BCI = removal from the program without refund. Class Expectations • Arrive on time daily; dress in purple scrubs and closed toe shoes. • Bring textbook, handbook, notebook, and pen. • Maintain professionalism and respect at all times. • Follow all safety and infection control procedures. • No cell phones during skills or clinicals. • Absences and tardies must be communicated in advance.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING POLICY • A $200 non refundable registration deposit is required to reserve a seat. • Seats are first come, first served. • Tuition must be paid in full before Day 1 unless using Klarna, Afterpay, or Affirm. • Confirmation email sent once deposit and documents are received. CANCELLATION POLICY • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. • 7+ days before class start: deposit non-refundable, tuition refunded. • Within 7 days of class start: all payments are non-refundable. REFUND POLICY • $200 deposit is non refundable under all circumstances. • No refunds for dismissal due to policy violations or attendance issues. • If Devine Nurses cancels a class, students may transfer or receive a full refund. RESCHEDULING & NO SHOW POLICY • No show on Day 1 = forfeiture of all payments. • Rescheduling requires a $75 reschedule fee and new enrollment agreement. • Students may reschedule once only. TARDINESS POLICY • More than 15 minutes late = 1 hour of missed class time (must be made up if approved). • Excessive tardiness will result in dismissal from the program. • Clinical days are MANDATORY. Clinical attendance cannot be made up. • Missing clinical = automatic removal from the program with no refund.
